Meet Ashley

Ashley Provost, President, Creative Director

 

Ashley was raised in Walnut Creek, CA.  After attending UC Berkeley, she lived in Europe for 2 years, traveling and gathering inspiration from cities that still inspire her most today.  She returned to the East Bay Area, where she found a renewed appreciation for the classic California interior design style and began working at Pottery Barn for 2 years before working under a prominent local stager/designer. Ashley Provost Design was launched in 2010, her fifth year in the staging industry, with only a laptop, small storage space, and a vision of a staging company that would embrace friendly, easy service while maximizing the sale of clients' most important investment of their lives, their homes.

Today, she prides herself in doing business overwhelmingly by referral, working with many of the best realtors in the business, as well as countless homeowners who she has come to call friends.  She was recently voted one of the Top 100 Most Influential Stagers nationwide. Ashley lives in Danville with her longtime partner, Dean.  She is passionate about 2 charities in particular, One Warm Coat and Helping Hands.

One of the things I am most proud of is our staging team. I have not only been blessed with a team of people who I enjoy spending every day with, but also a team of incredibly capable, smart, and caring individuals who represent my name and business well... And most importantly, who I feel very comfortable sending into our clients’ homes. We intentionally hire team members based on their people-skills and trustworthiness first and foremost, with design-savvy and staging ability as an important second factor. I feel this key priority order changes how we do business on a daily basis, leading to clients who feel honored and respected when we are in their homes.
